About the Role Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing department in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is critical for optimizing procurement strategies through rigorous data analysis, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and improving overall supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for tracking spend, analyzing supplier performance, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools, and a solid understanding of procurement principles within a dynamic business landscape.
Key Responsibilities Analyze procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market trends, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics and KPIs.
Support the negotiation process by providing data-driven insights and cost analysis.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.




Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and budgets.
Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, finance, or a related analytical role.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain principles.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage complex analytical projects.
A relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.
