The AVP, Global People Services leads readiness and launch coordination across a complex global matrix. This senior leader connects service design, product ownership, knowledge, training, regional execution, and innovation. The position translates strategy into operating priorities while strengthening colleague experience, controls, adoption, and global consistency.
Key Responsibilities: Translate GPS strategy into readiness, product, knowledge, training, and innovation priorities
Lead intake, impact assessment, cutover, hypercare, and post-launch reviews
Confirm ownership, controls, capacity, technology, data, training, and communications
Manage dependencies, sequencing, resource constraints,



and launch risks
Provide dashboards covering demand, status, adoption, decisions, and advantages
Requirements: Senior leadership experience in global HR operations or shared services
Experience establishing operating models, governance, service standards, and launch disciplines
Knowledge of HR delivery, employee experience, workflow, automation, and AI
Experience translating policy, technology, data, and change into operations
Executive presence and experience leading geographically distributed teams
Bring global HR operations, service design, governance, and innovation leadership to Manulife’s GPS readiness agenda.
