Lead scalable hospitality technology in Toronto as OpenTable’s Senior Engineering Manager, guiding backend, frontend, and product engineering teams.
Within OpenTable’s Hospitality line of business, you will lead the Guest team supporting CRM workflows for restaurant products. You will shape technical vision, strategy, and execution while developing Senior+ product engineers. The work spans transactional and analytical systems, Java, C#, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Manage engineering outcomes and quality across frontend and backend teams
Define technical vision, strategy, and execution for Guest systems
Partner with Product and Design on product roadmaps
Mentor and coach engineers through feedback and development




Build platforms used by other product teams
Requirements: Five-plus years building scalable backend applications hands-on
Experience with data-intensive systems and engineering team leadership
Proven mentoring and technical project leadership experience
Ability to architect systems end to end
Robust communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bring product-minded engineering leadership, scalable systems expertise, and team development skills to OpenTable’s Toronto Hospitality team.
