HDR seeks an experienced engineer for its Toronto office and North America Rail and Transit Systems Team. You will apply systems integration principles across communications, signalling, civil engineering, architecture, track, and other rail systems. The work supports complex projects in Canada and the United States.
Key Responsibilities: Manage client and design-team activities for rail projects
Coordinate planning, environmental processes, and construction estimate packages
Manage interfaces between systems and infrastructure elements
Lead multidisciplinary teams and supervise qualified staff
Serve as Project Manager on larger projects when needed
Requirements: Engineering degree in a related field
Ten years of railway engineering experience
Professional engineering license recognized locally
Experience managing complex multidisciplinary railway projects
Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRail Designer, or AutoCAD
