Lead LLM systems at Axya, working hands-on with Python, retrieval, agent workflows, and evaluation in a 100% remote environment.
As Lead AI Engineer, you will own Axya’s AI architecture and technical direction. You will report to the CTO while partnering with Product, Customer Success, and platform engineers. Your work will connect agent and LLM workflows with enterprise ERP and procurement data, taking AI features from prototypes into dependable production systems.
Key Responsibilities: Architect agent, LLM, retrieval, and tool-use workflows
Build evaluation frameworks, test sets, and monitoring
Deliver observable, cost-aware AI systems to production
Choose and benchmark models, vendors, and frameworks




Mentor engineers and establish AI development standards
Requirements: Production experience shipping LLM-based or ML-powered systems
Fluency in Python and backend service development
Hands-on prompting, retrieval, orchestration, and evaluation experience
Strong architecture judgment and technical leadership
Transparent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Shape Axya’s AI engineering direction through Python, LLM architecture, evaluation, and reliable production delivery for enterprise customers.
