Key Responsibilities: Underwrite medium to high complexity loan proposals
Develop terms, pricing, conditions, and covenants
Review packages and negotiate deal structures internally
Resolve compliance issues and material changes
Coach employees and mentor team members
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or accounting
Three to five years or more relevant experience
Corporate or syndicated financing experience
Loan writing and complex deal analysis experience
Strong credit judgment and communication skills
Bring commercial lending, credit analysis, and deal structuring expertise to BDC’s Toronto underwriting team serving Canadian businesses.
