Registered Practical Nurses deliver resident-centred care at Cogir Senior Living, using clinical knowledge, communication, and critical thinking to support older adults.
This position provides planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards. RPNs work within a multidisciplinary team, build trusted relationships, and support residents, families, and colleagues. The work includes assessing care needs, updating plans, and guiding unregulated care providers.
Key Responsibilities: Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
Build trusted relationships through ongoing effective communication
Implement and evaluate care plans, changing them as required
Complete accurate clinical assessments, care plans,



and documentation
Teach, delegate, direct, coach, and mentor care providers
Requirements: Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
Solid written and oral communication skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
