Oncology nursing expertise meets cross-site patient care at CancerCare Manitoba in Winnipeg, with assessment, treatment administration, and follow-up responsibilities.
This permanent Oncology Nurse position supports the Outpatient Clinic and Pediatric Unit Clinical Float Pool. The work spans MacCharles, St. Boniface General Hospital, Victoria General Hospital, and Grace General Hospital. You will provide holistic ambulatory cancer care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities: Assess oncology patients throughout their cancer care experience
Administer treatments and provide appropriate nursing interventions
Educate patients and families about care
Support outpatient and pediatric clinical units across sites
Work with cytotoxic and hazardous medications using provided PPE
Requirements: Current good-standing registration with the CRNM
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Robust understanding of patient-centred care
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet use
Legal eligibility to work in Canada
