Support humanitarian expert deployments worldwide as a Deployment Officer with CANADEM, coordinating logistics and assisting consultants. This is a hybrid, full-time position.
CANADEM seeks a Deployment Officer to support experts assigned to United Nations receiving agencies through the Standby Partnership Network. The one-year contract includes a possible extension and requires office attendance at least Wednesdays. You will coordinate operational details while supporting global assistance programs.
Key Responsibilities: Support consultants before and during international deployments
Coordinate flights, insurance, equipment, and visas
Assist contracting and collect consultant documents
Forward monthly invoices and expense reports
Prepare funder reports and support program outreach
Requirements: Post-secondary degree or relevant professional expertise
Two to three years of relevant organizational experience
Fluent English; French fluency is an asset
Strong Microsoft Suite, organization, and communication skills
Canadian citizenship or eligibility to work in Canada
