CMHC is hiring Indigenous students and recent graduates for its Summer 2027 Indigenous Internship Program. The temporary full-time internship runs from May through August 2027. Opportunities may span business, communications, human resources, urban planning, data analytics, and other areas.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute to projects supporting CMHC’s housing mandate
Apply skills across varied organizational areas
Develop qualified experience through hands-on learning
Participate in mentorship and networking opportunities
Requirements: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, post-secondary studies
Self-identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Métis
Demonstrate experience through studies, work, or volunteering
Communicate strongly orally and in writing
Organize, plan, and work independently or collaboratively
Bring communication, organization, and diverse academic interests to CMHC’s Summer 2027 Indigenous Internship Program supporting meaningful housing work.
