Coordinate international expert deployments for CANADEM using robust organization, communication, and attention to detail in a hybrid work model.
The Deployment Officer supports consultants before and during humanitarian assignments worldwide. This full-time position includes liaison, contracting, procurement, document collection, and financial administration. CANADEM maintains a roster of more than 55,000 screened experts and serves UN agencies, multilateral organizations, governments, and international NGOs.
Key Responsibilities: Support consultants before and during deployment assignments
Coordinate flights, insurance, equipment, visas, and procurement
Assist with contracting and collect consultant documents
Review and forward monthly financial documentation




Support funder reporting, outreach, and social media
Requirements: Post-secondary degree or relevant professional expertise
Two to three years’ experience in a relevant organization
Fluency in English; French considered an asset
Strong Microsoft Suite, organization, and communication skills
Canadian citizenship or eligibility to work in Canada
Bring tact, confidentiality, adaptability, and independent judgment to CANADEM’s international humanitarian deployment coordination work.
