Provide psychiatric nursing care at Shared Health’s Selkirk Mental Health Centre, supporting patients with complex and unpredictable health needs in person.
As an RPN or RN, you will deliver professional registered nursing services under general supervision. The position includes prescribed treatments, patient-care coordination, discharge facilitation, and healthcare-team leadership. Recent related mental health experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Provide independent registered nursing services to patients
Administer prescribed medical treatments safely
Coordinate patient care and facilitate discharge
Lead within the healthcare team
Respond to complex and unpredictable health needs
Requirements: Graduate of an approved RPN or RN program
Maintain active CRPNM or CRNM registration
Provide proof of active qualified registration
Demonstrate oral and written communication skills
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Bring registered psychiatric or nursing expertise, patient-care coordination, and mental health knowledge to Shared Health’s Selkirk clinical team.
