Lead transportation safety programs for Prairie Bus Lines across Red Deer and surrounding locations, using incident investigation and safety leadership skills daily.
As Safety and Training Leader, you will partner with operational leaders and frontline employees. The work includes safety programs, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and transportation compliance. You will support drivers, mechanics, and administrative staff while strengthening local safety performance and culture.
Key Responsibilities: Develop proactive safety programs, policies, and safe work procedures
Investigate hazards, near misses, incidents, and significant collisions
Lead toolbox talks, drills, inspections, and safety meetings
Manage collision files, injury claims,



and return-to-work planning
Prepare for COR and transportation safety audits
Requirements: Three years in health or transportation safety roles
School bus or other transportation industry experience preferred
Experience with investigations, inspections, and hazard assessments
COR program and transportation safety audit experience
Class 5 license, clean abstract, and willingness to upgrade
