Support inpatient pharmacy operations at Toronto Western Hospital through prescription compounding, dispensing, and medication stock replenishment. This temporary full time role includes variable shifts.
As a Pharmacy Technician with UHN, you will independently complete technical prescription preparation according to master worksheets. You will maintain patient information, complete documentation, and support training functions. The position reports to the Pharmacy Operations Manager within Pharmacy Services Inpatient Operations.
Key Responsibilities: Compound and dispense prescriptions using master worksheets
Replenish medication supplies for assigned areas
Maintain patient information in pharmacy computer systems




Complete required reports and documentation
Assist with staff and patient education
Requirements: Complete an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
Hold Part A registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists
Manage competing priorities under minimal supervision
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Work variable shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on call
Bring pharmacy preparation, documentation, and communication skills to UHN’s inpatient operations team at Toronto Western Hospital.
