Deliver mail and parcels for Canada Post in Granby, Quebec, using safe driving and route delivery skills. This temporary, on-call position serves local customers.
As an on-call Delivery Agent, also known as a Letter Carrier, you will represent Canada Post in the community. You will sort mail, prepare deliveries, load and drive a postal vehicle, and deliver items by foot or vehicle. You will work outside in all types of weather, then return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages. The position requires English and/or French.
Key Responsibilities: Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot
Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes
Return incoming mail and packages to the depot
Requirements: Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence
Safe driving record for at least three years
Ability to lift up to 22.7 kilograms
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Availability for on-call evenings and weekends
Bring protected driving, route delivery, and bilingual communication skills to Canada Post’s Granby delivery operations.
