This four-month internship sits within PathWise Solutions Group, where actuarial students support insurance investment and risk management models. You will work with experienced professionals on client projects involving asset models, strategic asset allocation, asset–liability management, and performance testing. The work includes real-world data and advanced modeling tools.
Key Responsibilities: Support asset model implementation for traditional and alternative assets
Assist strategic asset allocation and asset–liability management strategies
Conduct performance and benchmark testing for client models




Investigate reconciliations and analyze model changes
Troubleshoot PathWise software migration issues
Requirements: Full-time bachelor’s or master’s enrollment in a relevant quantitative field
Solid quantitative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Python or modeling tools experience highly preferred
Legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship
Develop client consulting expertise through actuarial analysis, insurance modeling, Excel, Python, and PathWise software support.
