Help young adults navigate housing, employment, and life skills as a Program Facilitator with CHIMO’s Youth in Transition Program. Work full time or casually, including some evenings and Saturdays.
CHIMO seeks facilitators for its recent Youth in Transition Program serving young adults aged 18 to 24. You will lead practical group sessions, welcome participants, and provide help-desk support. The program covers housing, substance use and harm reduction, healthy relationships, job interviews, taxes, and culture.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead engaging group sessions for young adults
Welcome participants, share food, and check in
Staff the help desk with forms and applications
Provide phone calls, information, and next steps
Champion housing,



employment, financial literacy, wellness, or culture
Requirements: Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related field
At least one year leading youth groups, workshops, or programs
Warmth, steadiness, and a sense of humour
Clear Intervention Record and Vulnerable Sector checks
Lived care or transition experience is an asset
Bring group facilitation, practical support, and warmth to CHIMO’s Youth in Transition Program for young adults aged 18 to 24.
