Warehouse receiving and shipping expertise drive this Receiver role at AVL Manufacturing in Hamilton, Ontario. Work Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.
The Receiver accurately receives, verifies, and records incoming shipments while preparing finished goods for shipment. You will compare items with work orders, stage orders, and coordinate material distribution with warehouse staff. The role also supports loading, unloading, labeling, storage, inventory control, and warehouse records.
Key Responsibilities: Receive shipments and compare items against work orders
Stage orders for shipment of finished goods
Unload inbound and assist loading outbound trucks
Record issues, label goods, and ensure proper storage
Maintain warehouse records and support inventory control
Requirements: Previous warehouse experience preferred
Proficiency with Visual, Microsoft D365, or similar systems
Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks
Knowledge of picking, loading, unloading, and packaging procedures
Valid Ontario G License or Commercial Driver's License
Bring receiving, warehouse management system, equipment operation, and inventory skills to AVL Manufacturing's Hamilton shipping operations.
