Use professional cleaning skills as a Housekeeper serving Women & Children’s Services at Powell Place. This regular part-time schedule includes weekend and evening shifts.
The Housekeeper completes cleaning duties within assigned commission buildings. Responsibilities include wet mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, plus washing walls, windows, and ceilings. The work supports a residential support setting and requires compassionate, sensitive client interactions.
Key Responsibilities: Wet mop, scrub, wax, and polish assigned floors
Wash walls, windows, and ceilings within assigned buildings
Operate related equipment and industrial-grade cleaning products
Organize work appropriately under minimal supervision




Maintain appropriate client interaction and confidentiality standards
Requirements: Grade 12 equivalent high school diploma required
One-year recent residential support housekeeping experience required
Current Occupational First Aid and CPR certification required
Building Service Worker, Food Protected, and WHMIS certificates required
Ability to lift, stoop, crouch, and stand for extended periods
Bring residential housekeeping experience, independent judgment, and compassionate service to Powell Place’s Women & Children’s Services team.
