As part of the Laboratory Services Team, you will perform venipuncture, blood collection, ECGs, and specimen processing. The position also includes specimen loading and instrument maintenance within Oak Valley Health. Your work supports patient and client centered care while requiring communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and organizational skills. Recent related experience, preferably in a hospital environment, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture for blood collection and ECGs
Process and handle laboratory specimens




Load specimens into laboratory systems
Maintain laboratory instruments
Requirements: Complete a recognized laboratory assistant program
Hold required MLPAO Certification
Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric patients
Know specimen collection requirements
Work rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Bring certified laboratory assistance, strong phlebotomy, and specimen processing skills to Oak Valley Health’s patient centered Laboratory Services Team.
