Perform ultrasound services with Shared Health in The Pas, using patient management and diagnostic file management skills in person. This day-shift position is 0.50 FTE.
The General Duty Sonographer works under supervision at The Pas Health Complex. You will respond to physician requests, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain Accreditation standards. The work follows Shared Health policies, procedures, legislation, Mission, and Values.
Key Responsibilities: Perform ultrasound services requested by physicians
Manage patients and examination requests effectively
Maintain diagnostic files and related documentation
Manage ultrasound equipment and supplies
Maintain standards established by Accreditation
Requirements: Graduate of an approved accredited ultrasound training program
Active Sonography Canada registration in the appropriate category
CPR training meeting employer policy requirements
Effective oral and written communication skills
Robust organization, prioritizing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Apply sonography expertise, patient management, and diagnostic file skills as a General Duty Sonographer in The Pas.
