Position Summary Production Supervisor manages the flow of production throughout the shift, from material supply to the final product, while also supervising all production employees on the shift.
Position Responsibilities A Production Supervisor would be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Ensures compliance with established environment, health and safety regulations.
Oversees the production team to ensure orders are completed promptly and accurately
Familiar with the operation of various production machines, troubleshooting issues to maintain quality standards and monitor waste
Ensures production team maintains a production rate as determined and communicated by Operations leadership
Provides training, leadership, and updates on safety practices, maintaining a clean and hazard free work area




Controls the scrap rate for the designated production team as directed by Operations leadership
Approves Timecards/PTO in ADP
Business Planning and Analysis: Ability to assess business needs and goals, get consensus on planning and projections
Sponsorship: The ability to communicate business needs and desired outcomes to the organization
Collaboration: Collaborates effectively up and down the organization in an open, transparent, and fact-based manner
Initiative: Takes initiative with confidence, knows when to ask for guidance Production Supervisor or Director of Operations
Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation communications skills to effectively work with stakeholders across the company
Results driven: Demonstrated experience in delivering sustainable results in sales and profitability
Customer Focus: Understands the importance of building a strong customer relationship to achieve long term success
Position Requirements High School diploma/GED or at least five year of equivalent work experience in a manufacturing setting
At least three years of work-related experience with at least one year in a supervisory or lead role
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Powerpoint)
