Provide compassionate nursing care at Rosecrest Communities as a Licensed Practical Nurse supporting residents across full time, part time, or casual schedules. Supervise care and coordinate resident services.
At Rosecrest Communities, the Licensed Practical Nurse works under the Director of Care at The Sagewood, The Meadows, or Rosecrest. You will assess residents’ health status, administer medications and treatments, maintain clinical records, and communicate essential information. The work follows Rosecrest Communities’ Philosophy, Mission, Vision and Values and the Eden Alternative.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise CCAs and coordinate delegated duties
Administer medications and treatments as required
Assess residents’ health status and quality of life
Coordinate emergency responses and complete documentation
Collaborate with families, physicians, and qualified agencies
Requirements: Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Nova Scotia
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
Bring licensed practical nursing, resident assessment, medication administration, and compassionate care to Rosecrest Communities’ residents.
