This position focuses on testing and commissioning railway signalling technologies. You will work with engineering, project management, and installation teams across transportation projects. The work includes installation support, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Apply Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safety requirements
Read drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications
Install, replace, and repair control equipment
Test circuit continuity, compatibility, and system safety
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic system faults
Requirements: Valid Ontario 309A Electrical License or transferable license
Red Seal certification
Five years of commercial and residential electrical experience
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
Experience interpreting schematics, relay logic, and engineering drawings
Bring electrical testing, troubleshooting, and signalling knowledge to Alstom’s Toronto transportation projects while maintaining quality and safety.
