As a Contracted Class 5 Driving Instructor, you will teach students through AMA’s instruction requirements and customer service standards. Support is available for suitable candidates needing instructor training. The work includes Alberta Transportation guidelines, student feedback, and scheduling flexibility.
Key Responsibilities: Provide quality vehicle instruction to students
Follow AMA instruction requirements and customer service standards
Follow Alberta Transportation guidelines and policies
Give constructive feedback on student driving abilities
Teach after school, evenings, and weekends
Requirements: Hold an Alberta Class 5 Driving Instructor Licence
Hold a Class 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 licence three years
Ability to obtain a Class 4 licence
Maintain a clean driver’s abstract
Have your own vehicle and cover required start-up costs
Use coaching, vehicle instruction, and safety knowledge to help Red Deer students become licensed drivers through AMA Driver Education.
