Provide spiritual care and meaningful activities as a part-time Chaplain at Maple Towers in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Support residents, families, and team members.
Baptist Housing seeks a Chaplain for a permanent, three-day-per-week position serving seniors in a supportive rental community. You will offer accessible care respecting diverse beliefs, including end-of-life and grief support. The role combines ministry, activities coordination, volunteer collaboration, and team support.
Key Responsibilities: Build relationships addressing residents’ social, emotional, and spiritual needs
Facilitate worship, study, prayer, and fellowship programs
Provide hospital visits, grief guidance, and memorial coordination




Develop resident-directed activities and monthly calendars
Support team members and spiritual care volunteers
Requirements: Undergraduate Ministry degree or equivalent experience
Three to five years’ Christian ministry experience
One to two years’ experience working with seniors
CPE or qualified chaplaincy training preferred
Willingness to sign Baptist Housing’s Statement of Faith
Bring compassionate ministry, program planning, and spiritual caregiving skills to residents and families at Maple Towers.
