Apply accounting expertise with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team as an Accountant, developing financial reporting and client service skills. Travel flexibility may be required.
This Accountant role supports clients within Canada’s evolving business and financial reporting landscape. You will develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax. The work includes applying IFRS, GAAP, and/or ASPE while preparing tailored financial information. You will collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts.
Key Responsibilities: Develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax
Set up client files and manage multiple files simultaneously
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports




Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports
Prepare client summaries, presentations, and engagement correspondence
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration, completed or in progress
Accounting or finance major preferred
CPA Qualified Education Program prerequisites completed or in progress
Accounting-related office experience considered an asset
Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
Build accounting, reporting, and client service capabilities while supporting MNP’s Assurance & Accounting engagements across diverse businesses.
