Chinook’s Edge School Division seeks an Educational Assistant for its K–8 River Valley School. The successful candidate will provide educational support under teacher direction. The work includes small-group interventions, inventory interpretation, and specialized support for diverse learning styles.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver small-group support for Grades 7–8 students
Provide targeted interventions under teacher direction
Interpret inventory results to identify lagging skills
Implement effective, goal-oriented strategies
Assist with multi-tiered specialized student support
Requirements: Understand foundational literacy intervention strategies
Understand foundational numeracy intervention strategies
Know Knowledge and Employability curriculum supports
Know executive functioning strategies and targeted supports
Educational Assistant certification and related experience preferred
Bring literacy, numeracy, and intervention expertise to Educational Assistant support at River Valley School within Chinook’s Edge.
