Lead dining room service at Cogir Senior Living while supervising staff, monitoring workflows, and supporting residents with care. This position reports to the Culinary Manager.
The Dining Room Supervisor directs daily dining room activities across a senior living residence. You will support service quality, supervise wait staff, and uphold Cogir’s standards. The position requires experience in fine dining service and strong people skills.
Key Responsibilities: Direct dining room activities and maintain high service levels
Monitor workflows, routines, performance, and service delivery
Recruit, orient, schedule, and authorize staff leave
Coach, redirect, and evaluate dining room staff performance
Resolve personnel concerns or refer unresolved issues appropriately
Requirements: Food and beverage or hospitality course graduation
Three years of hotel or fine dining experience
Safe Serve Ontario or equivalent completion
Ability to manage staff and resources
Solid English communication and human relations skills
Bring dining leadership, service management, and resident-focused communication to Cogir Senior Living’s dining room operations.
