The City of Red Deer seeks a Facility Operations Assistant for assigned recreation facilities. You will maintain operational standards, communicate with users, monitor activities, and support safety programs. The position requires facility records, emergency response, and respectful service.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain recreation facilities and surrounding areas
Inspect facilities and report damage or maintenance issues
Operate powered cleaning and floor equipment safely
Monitor schedules, usage, and facility users
Participate in emergency responses and incident reporting
Requirements: Grade 10 education
Six months related experience, preferably in recreation
Intermediate First Aid certification
Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and shift work
Successful Criminal Records Check upon employment
