As a Scale Attendant-General Labourer, you support efficient facility operations while serving public customers and industrial account holders. The role includes purchasing scrap metal, identifying material grades, organizing yard materials, and maintaining safe work areas. Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and skilled communication are required.
Key Responsibilities: Direct incoming and outgoing traffic through the scale area
Coordinate vehicle movements with yard personnel by radio
Assist with identifying scrap metal grades when required




Sort materials and complete general yard cleanup
Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and irregularities
Requirements: Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
Strong customer service, communication, and radio etiquette skills
Ability to follow workplace health and safety requirements
Ability to complete accurate safety documentation
Ability to perform physical labour in various weather conditions
Support SECURE’s Kimberley recycling operations through safe scale coordination, customer service, radio communication, and attentive yard work.
