Lead camp programming for the Town of Ajax as a Camp Program Supervisor, coordinating activities, staff, administration, and safety. This temporary position supports assigned March Break camps.
Reporting to the Community Recreation Coordinator and Program Director, you will supervise and administer an assigned camp. The work combines recreational program delivery, staff leadership, planning, evaluations, and detailed administration. You will guide counsellors and volunteers while supporting safe, organized camp experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and administer the assigned camp
Plan, organize, and lead camp activities
Coordinate attendance, payroll, evaluations, logs, and incident reports
Oversee off-site trips and monitor safety
Lead training and evaluate staff performance
Requirements: Minimum Grade 11 education or equivalent combination
Two years’ camp or recreation leadership experience
Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
Solid oral and written communication skills
First Aid, CPR C, and HIGH FIVE certifications required
Bring camp supervision, recreational programming, staff leadership, and organized administration to March Break services in Ajax.
