The Cook prepares food across pantry, fry, and other kitchen stations. You will follow recipes, portion controls, presentation specifications, and food safety procedures. The position supports timely meals, accurate quantities, allergy-conscious dishes, and organized kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare daily food items across assigned kitchen stations
Set up, open, close, and restock stations
Follow recipes, portions, presentations, and allergy requirements
Maintain sanitation, cleaning, storage, and safety standards
Operate and maintain station equipment properly
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum one year of cooking experience
Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and protected handling
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills
Bring cooking experience, knife skills, and food safety knowledge to Cineplex kitchen operations in Edmonton.
