Support hemodialysis patients at William Osler Health System as a Registered Practical Nurse using safe assessment and patient-centred care. Work days and evenings, including weekends and statutory holidays.
This Registered Practical Nurse provides nursing care to less complex hemodialysis patients with predictable outcomes. Practice within Osler standards, College of Nurses requirements, and applicable legislation. Apply assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, health teaching, and emergency response skills within an inter-skilled team.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Provide compassionate, patient-centred nursing care
Follow infection prevention and control measures
Recognize health changes and respond to emergencies




Provide patient and family health teaching
Requirements: Minimum two years hemodialysis experience within the last five years
Nephrology certificate or enrollment toward completion within eighteen months
Ontario Renal Network vascular access modules completed
Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
