Support preschool learning at Fueling Brains Academies as an Assistant Teacher with early childhood development knowledge and responsive classroom support. Work with the Senior Preschool team at West 85th.
This Assistant Teacher role supports planned learning experiences, classroom activities, and daily routines. You will help create a safe, welcoming setting where preschoolers build confidence, independence, communication, and self-regulation. The position also involves purposeful play, observations, family relationships, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Support planned learning experiences, activities, and classroom routines
Engage children through play, movement, and small groups
Provide active supervision during transitions and daily routines
Observe development and share relevant information with educators
Prepare materials and maintain a welcoming classroom
Requirements: Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification, preferably Level 2 or 3
Preschool early learning experience preferred
Understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning
Warm, patient, responsive approach with children
Vulnerable sector check and Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR
Bring responsive support, classroom teamwork, and early learning knowledge to Fueling Brains Academies’ Senior Preschool team at West 85th.
