The Upper Grand District School Board seeks a Long-Term Occasional Teacher for its elementary teaching team. Reporting to the assigned school principal, you will provide continuous, high-quality education during the regular teacher’s temporary absence. This assignment supports students in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
Key Responsibilities: Provide continuous, high-quality French Immersion Grade 2 education
Support student achievement throughout the temporary teaching assignment
Promote student well-being in the assigned elementary classroom
Follow Ontario Ministry of Education standards
Apply Upper Grand District School Board policies
Requirements: French as a Second Language Part 1 qualification
Primary qualification
Availability for a 1.0 FTE assignment
Ability to provide an original Vulnerable Sector Check
Check dated within six months of employment start
