This mid-level Accounting Technician reports to the Manager, Accounting Operations at Northwestern Polytechnic. The role supports accurate financial processing, internal and external reporting, forecasts, budgets, reconciliations, customer service, vendor service, and policy compliance. It contributes reliable financial information for the institution.
Key Responsibilities: Process payments, deposits, invoices, adjustments, statements, and refunds
Reconcile receivables, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on overdue accounts
Review supplier invoices, expense claims, coding, approvals, and documentation
Prepare payment runs and resolve payment exceptions




Support reports, forecasts, budgets, journals, reconciliations, and financial close activities
Requirements: Business Administration Diploma, Accounting Diploma, or Accounting Technician Certificate
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
