Reporting to a Pharmacy Manager, you will independently prepare and dispense prescriptions according to master worksheets. The position also supports medication supply replenishment, pharmacy information maintenance, documentation, and staff or patient education. UHN’s hospital network includes Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, The Michener Institute of Education, and West Park Healthcare Centre.

Compound medications as part of technical preparation

Maintain updated patient information in pharmacy systems
Complete reports and support training functions
Requirements: Complete an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
Hold Part A registration in good standing
Manage competing priorities under minimal supervision
Demonstrate solid communication and interpersonal skills
Learn and troubleshoot changing technologies and machinery
Bring registered pharmacy technician expertise, accurate dispensing, and inpatient operations support to UHN’s evolving talent pool.
