Operate and maintain hardband equipment safely while delivering quality work that meets customer requirements and established procedures. This position includes equipment operation, adjustments, maintenance, and paperwork.
Reporting to the Division Manager, the Hardband Operator handles daily operation of tool joint hardband grinder and hardband units. The work supports grinding, hardband application, equipment upkeep, and compliance with safety policies. On-the-job training is provided for equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities: Operate tool joint hardband grinder and hardband units
Adjust equipment sizes and settings as required
Grind and apply hardbanding to customer requirements
Complete and submit paperwork for supervisor review




Clean and maintain units after completed jobs
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
Previous industrial equipment operating experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude for adjustments, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Valid driver's licence and acceptable driver's abstract
Ability to travel sixty percent in company vehicle
Apply mechanical aptitude, equipment operation, and safety focus as a Hardband Operator supporting quality customer work.
