Our client is seeking a Paralegal and Governance Coordinator to provide legal, governance, and administrative support within a private family office environment. Working closely with senior legal and family office leadership, this role supports family governance, ownership matters, corporate records, and day-to-day administrative needs. The ideal candidate will bring robust paralegal experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the discretion and judgment required when handling highly confidential information.Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability ToProvide administrative and coordination support for family office activities and service requestsCoordinate governance meetings, including scheduling, materials, minutes, and follow-upSupport shareholder, ownership, estate, and succession-related matters under the direction of legal leadershipDraft routine legal and governance documents, including resolutions and meeting minutesMaintain corporate minute books, statutory records,



and legal documentationCoordinate with internal teams and external advisors on approved family administration mattersEnsure governance records and documentation remain accurate, organized, and currentHandle sensitive family, ownership, and legal information with a high degree of confidentialityYour strengths include5+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal support, governance, or family office environmentParalegal diploma or certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong organizational and follow-up skills with excellent attention to detailExcellent written communication, drafting, and proofreading abilitiesSound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential informationProficiency with Microsoft 365 and standard business applicationsFamiliarity with AI-enabled tools considered an assetAbility to work full-time, in-office in Edmonton
