As a Distribution Designer, you will apply distribution electrical systems knowledge across construction, operation, and maintenance. The full time, permanent position includes client collaboration, technical problem-solving, field activities, and engineering deliverables. Work may include leading a small engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop overhead and underground distribution line designs
- Prepare estimates, material take offs, scopes, and designs
- Complete electrical and structural engineering calculations
- Produce survey and construction packages using specified software
- Conduct site visits and construction-phase field inspections
Requirements:
- One year of distribution project design experience
- Relevant engineering technology diploma, certificate, or degree
- Ability to work with limited supervision in design teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
