Digital Extremes seeks a Linux Systems Administrator with five-plus years of experience in high-demand production or studio environments. You will co-own corporate and game servers while working with Systems Analysts and Administrators. The position emphasizes Proxmox VE, Ceph, Veeam, monitoring, and infrastructure modernization.
Key Responsibilities: Deploy, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux servers
Administer Proxmox VE and Ceph storage clusters
Validate backups and test disaster recovery restores
Maintain monitoring stacks and respond to alerts
Execute operating system and hardware upgrades
Requirements: Five-plus years administering Linux systems
Enterprise Linux, Docker, Proxmox VE, and Ceph experience
Veeam backup infrastructure management experience
Shell or Python scripting and networking familiarity
Availability for required out-of-hours on-call duties
