Support resident care as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse at Reachview Long Term Care Home in Uxbridge, Ontario, working evenings.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN administers medications, treatments, and assessments for residents. The position supports multidisciplinary meetings and nursing practice. Care follows College of Nurses of Ontario, Long-Term Care, and Southbridge Care Homes standards.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications, treatments, and resident assessments
Observe, report, and record vital signs and conditions
Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
Organize restorative and palliative care activities
Supervise, evaluate, and train assigned nursing staff
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate
Registration or eligibility with Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
Current First Aid and BLS Certificate
Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
Negative vulnerable sector check and required TB documentation
Bring nursing assessment, communication, and resident-care skills to Reachview Long Term Care Home’s evening nursing team in Uxbridge.
