The Salvation Army seeks a Community Ministries Worker for Swift Current Community Church. This position supports foodbank services, vouchers, records, donations, volunteers, and special events while reflecting the organization’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients accessing foodbank services and community vouchers
Maintain confidential client assistance records using Link2Feed
Receive, sort, weigh, and document food donations
Support foodbank cleanliness, organization, and daily operations
Assist programs, events, volunteers, and Christmas Kettle activities
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent education
One year of prior related experience
Valid driver’s license
Solid interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Bring integrity, confidentiality, client service, and foodbank support skills to The Salvation Army’s Swift Current community ministry.
