St. Albert Public Schools is recruiting a probationary Floater Caretaker 2 for various division locations. The assignment involves routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and handling cleaning equipment, chemicals, furniture, and other products. Hours total 37.5 per week, Monday through Friday, with daily hours decided by the Assistant Manager of Facilities Services.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning throughout school buildings and property
Complete minor maintenance tasks as required
Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products
Lift and handle cleaning equipment and furniture
Requirements: Entry level knowledge of cleaning equipment operation
Knowledge of chemicals and cleaning products used
Basic knowledge of repair procedures
Ability to work well in a team setting
Up to six months building cleaning experience
Bring cleaning, minor maintenance, equipment operation, and repair knowledge to St. Albert Public Schools as a Floater Caretaker 2.
