Role Description

She Inspires is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to join our growing team on a part-time, volunteer basis. Working closely with the organization's leadership, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing social media content that reflects She Inspires' mission, brand identity, and ongoing initiatives. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys graphic design, digital storytelling, and social media content creation and wants to develop their creative skills while contributing to a social cause.

Key Responsabilities

- Create visually engaging social media posts, graphics, carousels, and short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Write compelling captions and short-form content that align with She Inspires' mission and communication guidelines.
- Develop content based on creative briefs, campaign objectives, and guidance provided by the organization's leadership.




- Collaborate with team members to highlight upcoming events, initiatives, awareness campaigns, and organizational achievements.
- Adapt content to different social media platforms while maintaining a consistent visual identity and tone.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the organization's social media presence.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions to ensure content meets organizational expectations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a genuine interest in gender equality, women's empowerment, and youth-led social impact.
- Demonstrates creativity and an eye for visual design and storytelling.
- Has experience or familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Possesses strong written communication skills in English; French proficiency is an asset.
- Is organized, reliable, and able to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
- Is receptive to feedback and comfortable working collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Is motivated to learn, contribute ideas, and support the organization's mission.

The following are considered assets, but are not required:

- Previous experience creating social media content for an organization, student association, business, or personal project.




- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and social media design trends.
- Educational background in communications, marketing, graphic design, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations or community initiatives.

Previous professional experience is not required. We welcome applications from students, emerging creatives, and individuals looking to develop their portfolios.

Additional Information:
