This full time, hourly position supports the accounting structure for the Foothills Ready-Mix group. Reporting to the Controller for SAB Construction, the accountant assists administrative accounting staff and management. The work centers on billing, job costs, revenue, reporting, and month-end close.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely, accurate billing for active jobs
Monitor costs, revenues, and estimated-versus-actual performance
Prepare reports, journal entries, accruals, and allocations
Maintain Work in Progress reporting within target
Resolve billing and job cost discrepancies collaboratively
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related business field
Minimum two years of job costing experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills
Attention to detail and accurate financial documentation
