Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools requires an Educational Assistant for students with mild to severe needs. The work may address intellectual, emotional, behavioural, learning, hearing, vision, communication, language, physical, or medical needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist students with mild to severe needs
Support Individual Program Plan implementation
Model social skills and emotional regulation
Use visual and sensory supports
Support Google Apps and communication devices
Requirements: Complete Education Assistant training or equivalent post-secondary education
Communicate fluently in French and English
Apply foundational First Nations, Métis, and Inuit knowledge
Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Lift and toilet students as required
Bring bilingual communication, student support experience, and positive behavioural strategies to École Sacré Coeur’s French immersion community.
