This established company hires Apprentice Electricians for industrial construction. The position involves interpreting blueprints, applying electrical codes, and working with AC/DC motors, PLCs, and switchgear. You will install, test, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems while developing trade skills.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications
Test equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
Install and repair motors, PLCs, transformers, and switchgear
Run conduit, wiring, feeders, fiber optic, and coaxial cables
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records
Requirements: Indentured into the electrician trade
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Eligible to work in Canada
Industrial oil and gas experience is an asset
Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code is an asset
Develop industrial electrical expertise through testing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance across oil and gas construction systems.
