Design high-speed analog circuits with Ciena’s Wavelogic team, using CMOS or BiCMOS expertise and supporting optical fiber transmission solutions.
This Hardware Engineer role contributes to mixed-signal IP blocks for Wavelogic products. You will work on DAC, ADC, SERDES, transimpedance amplifier, modulator driver, and precision analog circuits. Design and characterization occur in Ciena’s state-of-the-art lab.
Key Responsibilities: Design detailed analog blocks under senior engineer guidance
Collaborate with layout teams through full GDSII delivery
Characterize circuits from test chips through product implementation
Provide status updates and participate in team meetings
Share design experience with the group
Requirements: Work toward an engineering, computer science, or scientific degree
Previous internship, co-op, or relevant applied project experience
Experience leading designs in advanced CMOS or BiCMOS technology
Methodical approach to addressing technical problems
Proficiency with Cadence, Mentor, or Synopsys design tools
Apply analog design, mixed-signal development, and circuit characterization skills to Ciena’s advanced Wavelogic connectivity products.
